From Grandcamp-Maisy<\/strong>, embark on a big game fishing trip. You can also take a breath of fresh air while sailing off the Saint Marcouf Islands, or discover the Pointe du Hoc<\/strong> (seen from the sea). Vintage sailings departing from the port of Carentan, aboard the Vedette “Belle de Carentan”, a replica of a German torpedo boat from the Second World War, are also offered.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Our fine sandy<\/strong> beaches<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Colleville-sur-Mer<\/strong>is in the heart of the dunes, in a green setting. Omaha Beach<\/strong> extends over 6 km of golden sandy beach. It is an ideal beach for sand yachting, kite flying and other sports activities. Swimming is just as much fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer<\/strong> is a very lively beach. Many locals and tourists come to play beach games and go swimming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vierville-sur-Mer<\/strong>, more family oriented, is perfect for lazing around, swimming and playing with children, with its small ponds naturally heated by the sun. Along its cliffs, you can also practice fishing on foot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grandcamp-Maisy<\/strong> is now home to a fishing port<\/strong>, a marina<\/strong> and a beach<\/strong>, part of which is still accessible, even at high tide. It is a place that also has the privilege of being a great spot for fishing<\/strong>, which is a good way to occupy the children!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hiking<\/strong> tours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Discover the charm of the landscapes and the heritage of our territory during convivial hikes often gathering a hundred of hikers. The walk, of about 8 km, is free and organized by the tourist office of Isigny-Omaha<\/strong>, supervised by an animator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also follow the hiking trails on your own thanks to the Isigny-Omaha tourist office’s topofiches, which can be downloaded free of charge or sold at the office. The tourist office of Isigny-sur-Mer also proposes you to discover the natural reserve of Cerisy during great commented walks on various very natural themes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
